The Saw Doctors - World of Good
I wanted us to stay like the bright lights
Of the ferris wheel, twinkling and shining,
Merging into one. A ring of fire
Lighting up the peer with its certainty
Each carriage bound to its opposite
For eternity. Never to be separated
Or lost, or alone, or in need of another
To make it feel at home in the deep
Night’s sky. Through wind and rain
And with the lashing of the sea at it heels
It remains strong and calm. The ferris wheel
Does not falter, the bright star in the sky.
